Sauternes Cask Finish is a single malt whisky that after 8 years of maturation in oak barrels, completes its maturation in barrels of French Sauternes wine from Bordeaux. Master distiller, James Mac Taggart, carefully monitored the second stage of maturation to achieve the perfect balance between Sauternes wine barrels and the sweet and fruity character of Arran malt whisky.
- Nose: Particularly impressive with rich tropical notes, banana and spices that make the aroma balanced.
- Body: Sweet in the mouth, honey, apricot, melon and honeysuckle.
- Aftertaste: Long and sweet finish.
