Matsu, which means “to wait” in Japanese, pays tribute to all the winegrowers who have worked on the vines for generations and dedicated their effort, knowledge, respect and sacrifice. Toro is an area with a dry climate, extreme temperatures and centuries-old vineyards cultivated according to the tradition of the region not to interfere with natural processes, following the season that nature sets. The photos depicting the winegrowers on the label represent the essence of each of the wines included in this collection. Varieties: 100% Tinta de Toro.
Vineyard: Selection of 50 to 70 years old vineyards of limited production is located in poor soil and is cultivated using biodynamic techniques.
Harvesting: Manual harvesting during the first fifteen days of October.
Aging: At least 3 months of aging on lees in a concrete tank. Alcohol content: 14,5% Vol.
Tasty notes Color: Deep bright ruby.
Nose: Intense, ripe and sweet berry fruit characters, with hints of minerals.
Mouth: Full body wine, with a sweet fruit palate and delicious tannins.
The wine is complex, malleable and with a mature long finish.
