KTIMA HADJIGEORGIOU EPOPS MERLOT 2021 RED 750ML

The Hadjigeorgiou estate was founded in the early 50’s by Vasilios Hadjigeorgiou, a pioneer farmer and visionary, who by carrying out private land consolidation gathered a concept of an area of 185 acres in the area of Karyani Kavala. Exploiting the region’s potential for viticulture, it created one of the first systematic vineyards with Greek and French varieties.
Then the management of the estate was taken over by his son Nikolaos Hadjigeorgiou, who proceeded to the restructuring of the vineyard oriented towards modern cultivation methods and the harmonious coexistence of the estate with the environment. It was initially included in an integrated management program. In 2006 Vasilis Hadjigeorgiou the younger, started the creation of a modern winery that can be visited, with the sole aim of producing quality wines. In the privately owned vineyards of the estate are cultivated the varieties: Sauvignon Blanc, Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon.
