ICHIRO’S MALT WINE WOOD RESERVE 700ML

New bottling by Ichiro Akuto (founder of Chichibu) from Ichiro’s Malt Series. Whiskey from the (now closed) distillery of Hanyu, matured in oak barrels of the mythical Taransaud company which had hosted red wine, to give an extremely aromatic and complex malt. Ripe red and black fruits such as cherry, gooseberry are mixed with aromas of violet, butter caramel and chocolate. In the mouth the effect of wine is even more intense with raspberry, cinnamon and anise giving complexity and defining its character.
