This malt whisky, which goes through double maturation in port wine barrels, is dedicated to the Scottish merchants who took on rough seas and played an important role in starting the port wine trade, selling it all over the world. “Port Ruighe” is the Celtic spelling of the name of the once bustling trading port on the Isle of Skye. The aftertaste of Port combines the dynamic, seascape character of TALISKER with juicy, sweet notes of rich berries for a wonderful experience of taste contrasts.
