Its success is due to Hiram Walker, the distillation expert, who combined fine Canadian malts with the technique of barrel blending, that is, mixing the blend ingredients before maturation, creating a distinctly soft and delicate taste. This unique whiskey was immediately appreciated by the aristocratic circles of 19th century America, from where it was named “Club”. Over the years its fame spread all over the world, to be a truly special whisky with millions of fans.
