Tullamore Dew 12 is a twelve-year-old malt whisky, pot-still distilled, like most Irish whiskies. A wheat whiskey aged in bourbon and sherry barrels, which are evident here.
Character: Nose with strawberry cream and jam, sultanas, melted biscuits, flaxseed and honey. Soft taste with notes of spices (nutmeg, allspice), with honey aroma and creamy fruits in yogurt. Finish with medium length with a little bittersweet oak / walnut.
