Nikka whiskey is produced in two distilleries: Yoichi and Miyagikyo. It is a marriage of single malt whisky and grain, bottled batch-batch by the same force. Cereal whiskey comes from Miyagikyo, malt whiskey from Yoichi. The wedding took place at the first filling of bourbon barrels.
The nose is very alcoholic at first, but then develops into nice aromas of wildflowers, juicy citrus, orange zest and apricots.
