Since 2004 the Arran Distillery has produced an annual batch of whisky from barley and peat, called Machrie Moor. This is the name of Moor peat from the west coast of the island.
- Nose: Vanilla, tobacco and banana.
- Body: Malt, sugar as well as the fruity character of Arran whiskey.
- Aftertaste: Prolonged notes of smoke and guava.
