DOMAINE DU PEGAU CHATEAUNEUF-DU-PAPE CUVEE RESERVEE 2018 RED 750ML

The basic red Pegau Châteauneuf-du-Pape and an amazing example of what a traditional, pure Pegau Châteauneuf-du-Pape breed means. Over 80% of this wine is Grenache Noir, from old vineyards of very low yield acreage, while the rest is Syrah, Mourvèdre, as well as several other varieties allowed in the region. Maturation is slow, usually more than two years old, in old and large barrels. The result is dense, complex, but also noble. It can age for over 30 years.
