This wine is a tribute to grenache,variety that was almost forgotten due to its difficult cultivation. Proyecto Garnachas is a collection of wines from 5 different Spanish regions. Each wine expresses the unique characteristics of its region.
Varieties: 100% Grenache.
Vineyard: The vineyards are located in a catchment area, on the north face of Moncayo. The soil is rocky with a high percentage of slate and gravel.
Harvesting: Manual harvesting of selected grapes in mid-October.
Vinification: extraction for 2 weeks, fermentation in vats at a temperature below 25oC.
Aging: 5 months in French oak barrels.
Alcohol content: 14% Vol.
Nose: Intense and elegant, red berries, with smoke and herbal notes.
Mouth: Rich and fruity with balanced freshness. Elegant, with unique varietal characteristics and a long aftertaste.
