Aged for 5 years in oak barrels.
An impressive wine with deep orange color and copper hues, which testify to its 5-year aging in oak barrels.
Aromas of honey, honeycomb, butter caramel, spoon sweets, cherries in alcohol, dried fruits and nuts, with cocoa and chocolate background, compose a particularly complex and dense aromatic profile, built on many levels.
In the mouth, the wonderful balance of Samos Anthemis manages to keep almost intact the primary freshness and noble aromas of muscat with the tertiary aromas of aging highlighting and combining uniquely with those of dried fruits, tobacco and chocolate that give a truly “special” wine.
It goes great with creations of high pastry with intensely sweet character and aromatic complexity. Also, with baking sweets, aged yellow cheeses, tarts and sweets with nuts, fruit tarts, foie gras with sweet quince or fig, handmade ice cream. Plain, after dinner, it is delightfully accompanied by a light cigar.
Served at a temperature of 12-14ο C.
