The vineyard of Palpo is located at an altitude of 700m. and belongs to the Municipality of Ag. Panteleimon within the boundaries of the PDO Amyntaio wine-growing zone. Here the vines of Chardonnay were planted in 1990, as this particular terroir was considered particularly suitable for the cultivation of this white variety. The yield per hectare of the vineyard does not exceed 700 kg per acre, while the poor and sandy soils offer the opportunity to produce wines with excellent finesse and rich aroma. The climate of the region is characterized by cold winters and hot summers, while the presence of four lakes contributes to a mild continental climate that favors the cultivation of white varieties.<\/p>\n
