Agiorgitiko of Nemea welcomes Cabernet Franc and Merlot to its home, and together they compose an inspired blend that challenges the senses from the first sip. Frontier is a pleasantly spicy wine, with full tannins that over time round impressively. Whoever has the patience to age it will have the pleasure of witnessing its enjoyable evolution over time…
Vinification/Maturation: Fermentation and long-lasting post-fermentation extraction in stainless steel tanks. Full malolactic fermentation in barrel and maturation in new French oak barriques for 13 months and 6 months in the bottle. Red cherry, sour cherry, liqueur, cocoa cream, cinnamon, cedar, mouth exuberant, complex.
Organoleptic characteristics: The color is deep, clear purple with ruby highlights. The nose is intense, full of density and freshness due to the vegetativeness of Cabernet Franc. The aromatic character is based on the ripe fruit (red berry, red cherry and ripe strawberry) along with sweet aromas of chocolate, cinnamon, cedar and a distinctive barrel. In the mouth it is full, with rich extract, alcohol that balances the toned acidity and mature dense tannins. The aromas of the mouth follow closely those of the nose with the fruit even more toned. The aftertaste has duration, volume and complexity.
