Classic red with prolonged extraction of 20-30 days. Controlled temperature at 24 °C, to maximize varietal aromas. This is followed by malolactic fermentation and twelve-month maturation in new French oak barrels of 225 lt by Berthomieu. It is bottled without stabilization and filtration, so any amount of sediment is normal.
Deep ruby color and complex bouquet. Aromas of spices, pepper, cinnamon, tobacco, are framed by plenty of black fruit (plum, raspberry), baked fruit jam with hints of vanilla. In the mouth it is rich, spicey, exuberant with ripe felt tannins and a round long aftertaste.
Unfiltered and unstabilized. Any amount of sediment in the bottle is normal.
It is recommended to decant it in a decanter 30 minutes before consumption. Aging for 8-10 years.
