Janeiro cassasa is a 100% Brazilian spirit, made from the fermentation of pressed sugar cane juice.
It has been produced and bottled in the state of Rio de Janeiro continuously since 1886 and is recognized as the perfect ingredient to make sweet, refreshing and delicious caipirinha.
The quality of Janeiro cassasa is ensured by careful selection and sorting of sugar cane (unlike other cassasas, sugar cane is selected by hand) as well as by the absence of combustion, which ensures the elimination of any impurity from the juice.
