In Japan, there is a short period during spring when sakura blossoms (cherry trees) are in full bloom. In a tradition known as “Hanami”, people go out to celebrate the fall of these flowers and the change of season.
Blossom Gin is born from a base of locally grown barley distilled into a traditional shōchū spirit. We re-distill shōchū with juniper, local citrus trees, cherry blossoms and local herbs, always persistently pursuing clarity and perfection. The fruits of this effort are highlighted in the delicate aromas of blossoms reminiscent of those found in the mountains and coastline surrounding our home in Kagoshima.
