A trademark of Corfu, LAZARIS Koum Quat liqueur stands out for its quality. It is produced by extracting the rare citrus kumquat into alcohol, in the traditional way that has been passed on from generation to generation for years.
The fruits are carefully collected from the orchards, cleaned, washed and placed together with alcohol in stainless steel tanks, so that the alcohol gets the substances, aroma and color of the fruit. Then syrup is added, to make the composition of the liqueur. This is followed by filtering and bottling of the liqueur.
Kumquat liqueur is served chilled as a digestive drink after each meal. It is also great with crushed ice or as an ingredient in cocktails with a “Greek character”. It fits amazingly in fruit salads and can be used to flavor a cake or the sponge cake of a cake.
