Since the middle of the last century, ouzo TETTERI has been produced, which was first distilled by Stylianos Tetteris in 1846, as a product initially for domestic use. However, having passion and love for this anise spirit, he managed to make it known throughout the region, and to deal with it professionally little by little.
The traditional way of preparing the products of TETTERI distillery continues uninterruptedly with the same recipe, from the fourth generation Ioannis and Alexandros Tetteris. The traditional distillation combined with scientific knowledge and modern technology in bottling, packaging and quality control, give TETHERI products the unique character of authentic Greek drinks.
TERTERI distillery is the only Chian distillery that has been exporting for forty years, to the USA, Australia, and periodically to Belgium, Italy and Cyprus.
