Don Papa Masskara rum matured in oak American bourbon barrels and then enriched with local characteristics, such as honey from the Kanlaon forest on the island of Negros, Calamansi, a native citrus fruit found in the Philippines, and the equally local Siling Labuyo chili, a small red hot pepper.
