It all started when in 1860 Gaspare Campari founded the company Fabbrica Campari Gaspare Liquorista in Novara, Italy. Between 1862 and 1867 he created the Bitter Campari which was quickly loved by consumers. In 1904 Campari’s first production plant was opened in Sesto San Giovanni and the company began exporting the product abroad. This was the beginning of a very successful course that continues to this day, with Campari distributed in over 190 countries.
