High quality bourbon that comes to us from Centucky, USA, Blanton’s owes its name to Colonel Blanton, a mainstay of the business since 1897 and for 55 consecutive years. The Blanton’s distillery was one of four in the United States to obtain a special permit during Prohibition and continued to operate uninterrupted, while during World War II it was asked to stop whiskey production and produce pure alcohol for troops. Today, after the modernization of the facilities in 1984, the company continues the tradition of bourbon distillation, winning important distinctions, especially in the International Spirits Competition in San Francisco.
