BALVENIE 12 YEARS OLD 700ml

The Balvenie DoubleWood is a 12 year old single malt that acquires its distinct character by maturing in two different types of wood. During maturation, it is transferred from the traditional oak barrel of whiskies to European oak sherry barrels that have only been used once. Each stage of maturation enriches the distillate with different characteristics. Traditional barrels soften it and give it character, while sherry barrels give the single malt depth and completeness of taste.
