Château Nico Lazaridi, the most famous brand name of NICO LAZARIDI connected its name with the history of the company and the oenological renaissance of the Prefecture of Drama in 1987. The vineyard, from which the raw material originates, surrounds the homonymous winery Château Nico Lazaridi, which is fully harmonized with the relief of the area.
The completion of three decades since the first bottling of CHÂTEAU is an opportunity not only for celebration but also for new beginnings: the three wines, white, red and rosé, are now released with new labels, created by Greek artist George Taxidis.
The art of wine is a human activity, manual and laborious. Wine is “made” by human hands and is destined for humans. In the works that adorn the new labels, emphasis is placed on man and more specifically on his hand, as this is how he processes wine.
All three works depicted on the new labels together constitute a trilogy concerning man’s actions on the vineyard, placed within three separate time frames. The red wine label depicts planting, birth, beginning – it’s the start. A kind of “tribute” is paid to the man who started wine history.
