Mysterious as to its name, it refers to the gold-bearing Pangaio Mountain that rises imposingly opposite the Château Nico Lazaridi Winery.The Magic Mountain red , produced from the varieties Cabernet Sauvignon & Cabernet Franc, from its first release in 1990 until today, remains an unsurpassed product, a divine, gentle, mystical taste that characterizes the quality of NICO LAZARIDI.
It is fanatically sought after every year not only for its taste but also for its unique collectible bottle, which changes its visual theme from vintage to vintage. In honor of the anniversary of 1821, the legendary helmet of Theodoros Kolokotronis and the emblematic call of Alexandros Ypsilantis adorn the label of the collectible vintage for the MagicMountain o Red 2016 that is released 200 years after 1821!
The inspiration for the work of the label were two symbols of the Greek Revolution, the helmet of General Theodoros Kolokotronis and the call “For Faith” of the leader of the Society of Friends, Alexandros Ypsilantis. With this phrase begins the letter of Alexander Ypsilantis to the enslaved people of Greece and marks the Greek Revolution, which will then take shape.

Vinification-Maturation: Classic vinification of red wine of long post-fermentation extraction and increase of the ratio of marc to must with a stay for maturation of 18-20 months in new oak barrels and then 18 months in a reducing environment in the bottle
Organoleptic Characteristics: Deep red color. On the nose intense aromas of ripe red and black fruits, violet, coffee and dark chocolate blend harmoniously with the spicy character of the spices. Full body mouth with round tannins and balanced acidity with aromatic richness and long aftertaste.
Storage-Aging: It can be aged 10-15 years after harvest.
Tasty pairing: It is drunk at 16-18°C, accompanying red meats with complex sauces, winged and mountain game, as well as spicy cheeses.
