Reposado Rosa in its iconic pink polished porcelain bottle is created from the base of the blanco left for 65 days in French oak red wine barrels. There it ages, softens, develops complexity and finesse but also acquires a rich, unique rosé color – a legacy of the red wine that was hosted in the barrel and left its coloring memories in wood. The result is visually reminiscent of Provence rosé. Don’t deceive yourself though. This is a tequila like no other. Her soft rosé color hides a “lady” with a strong and sophisticated personality. Berries, plums and black cherries emerge from the glass while in the mouth it is soft, round with rich texture and aroma of fresh agave combined with vanilla, butter caramel and hints of dark chocolate. The finish is deliciously long, rich and very soft in notes of strawberry with chocolate.
Komos Reposado Rosa has a stunning candied pineapple nose surrounded by a vibrant agave breeze and lime zest. The mouth is rich, with floral and delicate notes of fruit from its time in French oak. The finish is mineral and dry, with a delicate sweetness.
