Paddy Irish Whiskey is a light and balanced Irish whiskey, known for its purity and softness. It is a triple distilled blend of grain, malt and pot-still whisky, offering a mild yet crisp taste with notes of honey. The history of Paddy Irish Whiskey begins in 1867, when the Cork Distilleries Company was founded, which merged four existing distilleries in Cork City. In 1882, the company hired Patrick J. O'Flaherty, known as Paddy, as a salesman. Paddy travelled to pubs throughout Ireland, promoting the company's product, which at the time was called Cork Distilleries Company Old Irish Whiskey. His generosity and friendliness, as he often offered free drinks to customers, made whisky popular, with pub owners calling it "Paddy Flaherty's whiskey". So, in 1912, the company decided to officially rename its product "Paddy Irish Whiskey" in his honor. Today, Paddy's spirit lives on through the whisky that bears his name, offering an authentic Irish experience to those who choose it.
