It is produced from the French variety Merlot as expressed in the microclimate of Pangaion. This is followed by classic red vinification with long extraction. After the end of malolactic fermentation it is aged for 16 months in new French oak barrels. It has a dense black-red color. It is served at 16-18oC and can be aged for at least 10 years.
Nose: On the nose aromas of red fruits, plum and sour cherry alternate harmoniously with notes of cedar, spices, vanilla, bitter chocolate and nutmeg.
Mouth: In the mouth it is rich, with generous robust tannins, very good structure and long aftertaste.
Accompanies grilled and cooked meats with spicy sauces and fatty cheeses.
