Deep red, dense.
Concentrated, layered presence, dominated by the aromas of black fruits, vanilla, toasted bread, chocolate and spices. Fleshy, well-structured, with noticeable but aristocratic tannins, dressed in abundant, ripe fruit. Warm and generous, it maintains an enviable balance, topped by the long, spice finish.
He loves red meats and especially lamb, in almost all his preparations. Try it even with slow-cooked beef casserole, stall steak, roast duck or salmi hare.
It will continue to evolve for at least 15-20 years from the harvest year.
It comes from certified organic vineyards. It ages for 18 months in French oak barrels, 50% of which are renewed every year. It is bottled UNFILTERED so sediment may appear in the bottle. Decanter is recommended.
