Vinification: Classic red vinification with extraction of short duration, 5-6 days, and with the wine remaining for 8-10 months in oak barrels.
Taste Characteristics – Aging: Wine with intense aroma of red fruits, nuts and sweet spices with a vanilla tinge at the end. Dry, with balanced acidity, and soft, velvety tannins. It can be consumed pleasantly from its young age but also aged from 3 to 5 years.
Ideal combination with food: Meat dishes with light red sauces, white meats (e.g. chicken with noodles), giouvetsi with eggplant puree, octopus in wine sauce
