The excellence of the personality of this wine is sealed by its prolonged stay in new French oak barrels, as well as by the great age of the Cabernet Sauvignon vines of our Estate, from which it comes.
Origin: From the oldest vines Cabernet Sauvignon, average age 21 years, from the selected Vineyard “Zygos”, 45 acres at an altitude of 330-350 meters, of the Estate in Atalanti Lokrida.
Vinification: Classical red vinification. This is followed by aging for 24 months in new small French oak barrels.
Tasting: Bright, purple solid color. Charming multidimensional aromatic ensemble where aromas of blackcurrant, raspberry, black currant and plum stand out in combination with hints of cedar and tobacco. The presence of wood is intense but perfectly compensated by the dense fruity character. In the mouth it presents an ideal balance, as robust tannins are ‘dressed’ with fruit and warmth goes hand in hand with elegance and class.
Ageing Dynamics: It is suitable for long-term aging that exceeds 15 years.
Serving: Enjoy at 18 °C.
Harmony: Enjoy it with fine dishes. Roast lamb in the oven is undoubtedly its ideal companion. Try it with grilled meats, game and semi-hard cheeses.
