Aleanna Winery has no entry line of products. The El Enemigo range has quality characteristics of “terroir” wines with emphasis on the Gualtallary zone (1450 m altitude), the highest zone of Mendoza and the only one with limestone soils.
Alejandro Vigil has two tattoos on his left wrist. One reads Malbec and the other the name of Juan Cruz’s son, the two things that changed his life.
Varietal composition: 89% Malbec + 6% Cabernet Franc + 5% Petit Verdot. Red wine from grapes grown in Gualtallary, at 1470masl of Mendoza.
Vinification-maturation: With indigenous yeasts, maximum temperature 29º C for 20 days and a total of 30 days of extraction. It ripens for 12 months in old foudres.
Harmony: Beef sirloin, pork chops with grilled vegetables.
Appearance: Medium shiny ruby with purple highlights.
Nose: Expressive aromas of fresh cherries and plums, violets and mineral notes. Elegant.
Mouth: Medium body with robust tannins, good structure and elegant finish.
Suggested serving temperature: 16ºC-18ºC
