Asprokambos Nemea: Vineyard at an altitude of 800 m, on the plateau of Stymphalia. Configuration of the vegetative wall according to the LYRA system
WINEMAKING
Short pre-fermentation cryoextraction in grape pulp, followed by alcoholic fermentation with selected yeasts and extraction at temperatures up to 25oC. Maturation of wine for 12 months, in barrels of 225 liters, made of French oak. It was bottled unfiltered.
FEATURES
Dark purple color with violet highlights, of sufficient density, aromas of ripe red fruits, vanilla, with intense tones of green pepper and aromatic herbs such as basil. In the mouth round, balanced, aromatic while the floral flavor is impressive. The aftertaste – which is supported by excellent quality tannins – is far away.
ACCOMPANIES
Excellent with duck, Wellington rabbit, grilled and stewed meats, dishes with red sauces and strongly aromatic herbs, as well as cheeses and cold cuts of medium intensity.
